Kathryn Davies 

Technical Manager Beauty and Personal Care UK

Kat graduated with a degree in biochemistry from the University of Warwick. After working for more than ten years as a formulator for contract manufacturers and brands, she joined IMCD in 2019. She is now the Technical Manager for Beauty and Personal Care based in the laboratory in Milton Keynes, and has worked on numerous projects for skincare, haircare, toiletries and sun care. Her role involves developing example formulations, preparing training seminars and working closely with customers to improve problematic products. 


Salma Moulana 

Laboratory Technician Intern Beauty and Personal Care UK

Salma is currently studying for a degree in Cosmetic Science at the London College of Fashion. She joined IMCD in 2022 for her year in industry where she is developing her knowledge and skills in new product development. She has worked on skincare, haircare and toiletries formulations, as well as running a project on surfactants and thickener compatibility.
