DURASYN 148

DURASYN 148 is a 8 cSt (mm2/s) fully synthesized hydrogenated hydrocarbon base fluid produced from C12 linear alphaolefin feed stocks. Its engineered physical and performance properties are designed to extend the service life and enhance the performance of fully formulated products operating under continuous low, high or wide temperature range conditions. DURASYN 148 is inherently thermally stable and resistant to thermal breakdown under non-routine high temperature excursions. It is inherently oxidation resistant allowing for extended replacement or reapplication cycles. DURASYN 148 has engineered inherent low volatility minimizing top-off and reduced contamination of system components exposed to vapors. It is engineered to be highly shear stabile maintaining viscosity grade over extended service life intervals. DURASYN 148 is designed with a broad range viscometrics making it suitable for exposure to low or high start-up or operating temperatures.
