GRANSURF 67

GRANSURF 67 is a water-in-oil (W/O) and water-in-silicone (W/Si) emulsifier with HLB~4.2. It is a pure non-ionic silicone surfactant with a relative high molecular weight resulting in stronger adsorption in the interface and low foam and electrolyte response. GRANSURF 67 offers higher emulsifying ability and provides enhanced stability to formulations in the presence of heat. As a designed to be formulated in water-in-oil and water-in-silicone emulsions, GRANSURF 67 can be used in applications like skin care, color cosmetic, sun care and hair care formulations where performance and sensoriality matters. It can be added at 1-4% to the oil phase as an emulsifier to create stable emulsions. For very stable W/Si formulations we reccommend to combine 2/3% GRANSURF 50C-HM + 2/3% GRANSURF 67.
