DURASYN 146 is a 6 cSt (mm2/s) fully synthesized hydrogenated hydrocarbon base fully synthesized distilled and hydrogenated hydrocarbon base fluid produced from C12 linear alphaolefin feed stocks. Its engineered physical and performance properties are designed to extend the service life and enhance the performance of fully formulated products operating under continuous low, high or wide temperature range conditions. DURASYN 146 is resistant to thermal break down under non-routine high temperature excursions and maintains viscosity grade over extended service life intervals due to its inherent thermal stability and oxidation resistance. It is suitable for exposure to vapors and designed-in broad range viscometrics allowing operation over wide temperature ranges. DURASYN 146 compatibility and solubility is similar to other fully synthesized base products, making it an ideal replacement or substitute.
