BELSIL EG 3000

BELSIL EG 3000 is a silicone copolymer network blended with Isohexadecane. It appears as a colorless, translucent gel. As BELSIL EG 3000 is based on the organic solvent Isohexadecane, the sensorial sensation during the application and after use differs from classical silicone based elastomer gels. The gel is perceived very pleasant, light and powdery. BELSIL EG 3000 provides rheological benefits, imparts a thixotropic effect and has the ability to act as a thickening agent. It also shows a good combability with a variety of solvents and is easy to formulate. BELSIL EG 3000 is suitable for industrial applications requiring a smooth, light and powdery feel. It can be used to thicken the oil phase of emulsions or anhydrous formulations. BELSIL EG 3000 imparts a cushiony feel and can be used to thicken formulations without affecting the performance.
