BELSIL EG 1200

BELSIL EG 1200 is a non-emulsifying silicone gel composed of a cross-linked silicone elastomer copolymer network which has been swollen with a non-volatile, low viscosity dimethicone. BELSIL EG 1200 has a rather high viscosity but can be easily further diluted with silicone fluids or organic solvents allowing a broad flexibility when formulating industrial products. BELSIL EG 1200 provides pleasant sensory properties and adds consistency and a nice silky texture to industrial formulations. Due to its shear-thinning behavior, BELSIL EG 1200 exhibits easy spreadability during application and leaves a very pleasant silky feel. In addition, BELSIL EG 1200 acts as a carrier allowing a slow release, making it suitable for industrial solutions requiring controlled release over time.
