POLYGLYCOL P-400 E

POLYGLYCOL P-400 E is a linear polymer produced by controlled, catalyzed reaction between propylene oxide and water. It has a low pour point and is completely soluble in water at 25 °C. POLYGLYCOL P-400 E possesses excellent lubricity and has a low vapor pressure. It is used as a solvent/coupler for formulations. POLYGLYCOL P-400 E provides benefits like ease of application and uniform finish due to its water solubility property which is ideal for applications involving dispersion of pigments and fillers. Its low viscosity and vapor pressure attributes make it suitable for use in thin film coating formulations where uniform application and less drying time is required.
