CARBOPOL 676

CARBOPOL® 676 is a highly crosslinked polyacrylic acid polymer used as a rheology modifier. It has short flow characteristics and relatively high viscosity performance. CARBOPOL® 676 provides excellent stability in oxidizing systems and improves vertical cling which minimizes dripping and increases surface contact time. Its shear-thinning rheology makes it suitable for sprayable or pumpable product formulations. CARBOPOL® 676 also provides suspension and stabilization of insoluble materials and particulates. These properties of CARBOPOL® 676 make it well-suited for applications that require controlling viscosity and suspension stability over a wide range of pH levels.
