EDENOL 888
Care and I&IEDENOL 888 is a dioctyl sebacate. EDENOL 888 is an excellent low temperature plasticizer for PVC and synthetic rubbers, like NBRPVC, NBR, HNBR, CM, CSM and CR. It has a very low vapor pressure and is insoluble in water. Unique properties such as a very low solidification point, excellent compatibility, fusion properties, for emulsions as well as suspension PVC-types allow this product to be used as a sole plasticizer. A 40 phr content of EDENOL 888 in PVC-films has a cold-flex temperature of below -65 C.
