Pseudoplastic thickener for waterborne paints. Esacol ED 18 is a natural thickener for waterborne paints. From a chemical point of view, the product is a polygalactomannan derivative. A specific surface treatment delays its hydration and enhances the ease of dispersion in water. Esacol ED 18 is a highly efficient thickener suitable for waterborne formulations characterised by a shear thinning profile and a good water retention.
